Thermo-Friendly Garlic Aioli

By Christopher Walker

Aioli is a Mediterranean recipe traditionally made from olive oil that looks similar to mayonnaise. We’ve modified our aioli recipe to have a mayonnaise base so you can prepare it in under five minutes.

When it comes to nutrition, it’s easy to focus on the macronutrients fat, protein and carbohydrates. However, the micronutrients in our diet are what keep our body functioning optimally. Garlic is a food that everybody should eat regularly. One ounce of garlic contains more than 10 percent of your manganese, vitamin C and vitamin B6.

Many of the major civilizations throughout history have included garlic in their diet including the Greeks, Egyptians and Romans1.

Modern science shows that garlic’s active ingredient allicin may boost your immune system. Unfortunately, allicin is unstable and breaks down when heated. To get the most benefits from garlic, you should eat it raw.
